Booties and Hoods: Eligible for return for store credit. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

Return within 7 days of delivery → full refund.
Return between 8–14 days of delivery → store credit for the full purchase amount.
After 14 days, returns are not accepted.

A waterproof outer shell of high quality Taslan© nylon features the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. DWR causes water droplets to bead up and roll off the fabric — and away from your dog's body.
Breed-specific dog coats are designed to fit the unique size and shape of particular dog breeds. At Voyagers K9 Apparel, we believe every dog deserves comfortable dog coats. In addition to making stylish dog coats for active breeds like Greyhounds, Voyagers K9 Apparel offers breed-specific dog apparel for 20 other short-haired dog breeds because there really is no such thing as "one size fits all" when it comes to dog coats.
No. If your dog wears a body harness, you may request an optional body harness opening. Voyagers K9 Apparel can alter our winter coats and raincoats to include a customized harness opening. Please note that there is an extra charge for this optional harness opening, and dog coats with this alteration are not returnable, refundable, or exchangeable.

The front chest piece is warm and non-restricting so your dog moves freely, while the broad belly wrap adjusts with Velcro straps for a snug fit. I have an American fawn Doberman who is pretty petite at about 70 pounds measuring neck: 14in chest: 32in and length 23in. He has a large barrel chest and long length but very slender which makes buying coats a disaster. After 6 years, I’m so happy I found this site!
I was between a small and medium in the winter coat and belly warmer so I reached out to their customer service. They were great with their recommendations!
I ended up doing a Size Small belly warmer and Medium winter coat. This worked out perfectly because the belly warmer is more fitted close to his body and the bigger size winter coat is able to fit over the belly warmer easily. There is small gapping when he wears the winter coat alone but not terrible.
If you are between sizes and only buying the winter coat, I would size down. If you’re getting both layers, I found it best to size down in the belly warmer and up in the winter coat. Hope this helps!

This jacket fit our Doberman perfectly. We got the jacket with the length ending at the base of her tail and were worried that it might be too short. But it covers her perfectly and she moves comfortably while staying warm. We live in Oakland California, and took a trip up to the snow. It poured rain the first night unfortunately which still meant we had to take the pup out for potty. The jacket held up and didn’t allow rain to seep through even after walking 20 to 30 minutes in pouring rain. It was also perfect for the heavy snow. We got the next morning, and she ran happily for long periods of time with her favorite jacket on the whole time. We are so grateful for an amazing product, and will likely purchase more as she continues to grow and sell out. Highly recommend this for Dobies to stay warm! we also bought her a tummy warmer, which she loved, wearing even indoors because our bottom level home gets really cold in the winter. Unfortunately, she chewed it up, but was no reflection on the quality of the tummy warmer. All in all, great quality products!
I have a Doberman mix at 45 lbs. and the small fits her very well. I like that Voyager makes you supply measurements before completing your order. The coat is well made but not balky and I can layer a sweater underneath if needed... and I just love that the cowl neck stays up over her ears on very cold days and in the rain (although it helps that her ears are not cropped). Even on very cold days she is comfortable walking for up to two hours at a time. All this and the jacket is easy to put on and take off! A good purchase!
I am beyond impressed by the quality and comfort of this coat. We live where we get all the seasons and my Millie dog gets so cold in the rain and snow. She also has such an unusual shape being a Doberman, many coats were tried and failed until we found this site and this coat fits her like a glove. When looking for a coat for a 100 pound Doberman, you can pretty much guarantee you’ll have a hard time. Until you find Voyagers! Dobermans have giant barrel chests so things in pet stores usually fit their chest or their neck, never both. And when you have one that’s larger than most dobermans it becomes even harder. I was even between getting the XL from Voyagers or getting a complete custom one because his neck measurement is one inch bigger than stated, so I emailed their customer service to see if the XL would still fit him. They were very professional and assured me it would still fit him fine (instead of having to spend about $40 more on a custom one) and it does! It fits him perfectly, it even allows him to run and jump and be the crazy little man he is without missing a beat. He has already jumped in the lake with it on (because he’s insane) and even though some of the fleece got wet, he remained completely dry and all I had to do was hang it over a chair overnight to dry it. I chose voyagers over two other companies and I am incredibly happy with my choice! I have nothing bad to say about the coat, or them as a company.
My 10 month old dobe doesn't have much of an undercoat and doesn't like going out in the cold too much. We go out on long hikes, so I knew I had to get him a warm jacket. This one is absolutely perfect for him! It keeps him super toasty during our Canadian winters since it covers his tummy, back, neck and even ears with the attached scarf. It is really easy to put on and the front section is stretchy so it fits him like a glove on his awkwardly large chest! We get compliments on the jacket a min of once a day. It also has a conveniently placed slit for the leash. The customer service was also phenomenal. They made sure to take exact measurements of my dog and included lots of extra room since he is still growing. Overall, we are very satisfied with the jacket and now want to get another one in another color!
Our dobie just loves her winter coat we bought last year...on cold or rainy days, she insist we put it on her before she will go outside. Really, when the door is open, she just looks at the rain, looks at the coat and stands there. Once we put the coat on her, she goes out for up to a 1/2 hour at a time.
It is a perfect fit and cleans easily. She wears it almost everyday during winter and it doesn't show wear. We just order her a second coat--so she has a different color to wear! Highly recommended

Because of the size of my dog,(length,height), this coat had to be a custom order. I had to pay an additional $46 for custom. k9 apparel was very particular about the measurements of my dog (as a custom item they should be) Despite giving my measurements and adding an 2 inches to his length cause I wanted it to cover his tail, the coat stops about 3 Inches shy of his tail. He is a Doberman and therefore very temperature sensitive. He wears a coat 24/7 in winter. The quality of the coat is phenomenal. The built in neck cowl is exactly what he needs. I would recommend this company and I was only disappointed that the custom coat is not as long as it needed to be. I'm considering getting one for my Ridgeback too.

My dog loves to wear her coat! We get compliments every time we are in public. The only thing to keep in mind is that it isn't ideal for running through brush because the super soft and awesome fleece will collect the burs. It hasn't ripped or anything, just takes time to pull the burs off. Also, not ideal for ruff housing with other dogs because dogs like to pull at the neck area. Other than that, she loves wearing it on walks and other cold winter adventures! It's beautiful and I know she is warm and dry! Thank you! I only wish, you'd sent some business cards so I could pass them out to all the people who inquire!
I am so impressed with this coat. Anubis has a medical condition so struggles to keep weight on and has alopecia on his ears. But now he can enjoy his Winter walks and keeps toasty warm! Thank you so much for such a fab item!
