The reasonable lifetime of an outdoor product is not indefinite, and is affected by the conditions in which it is used. Materials will fade, thin, and wear over time, and the reasonable lifespan of an item will be determined at our discretion.
What's not covered:
- Damage from chewing, snags, tears, or naturally occurring wear.
- Deterioration (including loss of water-resistant properties) from improper care and washing.
- Unwashed items will be returned. Please follow cleaning and care instructions prior to sending your item in for repair.
- Damage to the item from cutting the package open.
- Re♻️Coat purchases are not covered under warranty under any circumstances.
To file a warranty claim, contact us by email at production@k9apparel.com. Please include as much information as you are able, including your order number, the item in question, a description of the issue, and any photos that show the problem. If your claim is approved your product will be replaced with the same SKU, which may be a more recent version. If your product has been discontinued, you will receive store credit for the original purchase price. We are unable to provide refunds to the original form of payment.

Voyagers K9 Apparel makes, packs and ships our products from our facility in Tacoma, WA. We aim to fulfill and ship your order as quickly as possible. We provide the following shipping and delivery estimates to help you plan your purchase, but we are unable to guarantee delivery dates.
For in-stock items ordered during the business week (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) you can expect to receive shipping confirmation within 5–7 business days.
Made-to-measure dog coats, premium color coats, and coats that require a harness opening may take from 3 to 10 business days to ship. Promotional events and seasonal sales affect processing times.
It is our policy to charge the full amount for an order when the order is placed. This is to cover the cost of materials and labor involved in producing your order by hand. If you or your credit card merchant requires alternative terms, please contact us at sales@k9apparel.com prior to placing your order.
We know the importance of a great fit for your pup, and you should feel confident in your purchase of any of our Voyagers K9 Apparel products. Even if you’ve ordered your coat with a custom harness opening, rest assured that the addition of the harness opening will not be a barrier to initiating a return or exchange.
All return and exchange orders are subject to the following terms:
- Returns and exchanges initiated within 14 days of delivery are eligible for a 100% refund of the original purchase price.
- Returns and exchanges initiated 15-30 days after delivery are eligible for store credit minus a $6.95 per item restocking fee.
- Returns and exchanges initiated more than 30 days after delivery are eligible for our ReCoat program.
We offer returns and exchanges on clean, fur-free, unwashed products. Dogs shed (some more than others!) so we ask that you simply try the coat on your pup and if it doesn’t fit, take it off right away and initiate your return or exchange request.
