Machine wash in warm water using fabric softener if you prefer, but do not use bleach. (Do not dry clean.) Tumble dry the dog hood on low heat. Spray the fleece with a static eliminator if you prefer. To make your own static eliminator, simply mix 1–2 tablespoons of fabric softener in 8 ounces of water.
Customers praised this dog hood for keeping their Great Danes' ears warm and secure in cold weather. "Very warm" and well-fitting with elastic around the face that "stays in place well" during activity. One shopper noted it helped heal ear damage. Minor issue: hood sometimes unrolls on non-elastic side. Suggested adding attachment loops for jackets.

Just received the Great Dane Hood across the pond in Australia, and my Great Dane x Neo Mastiff cross loves it! She's got ear damage on the tips of her ears, which continually split when she shakes her head at the speed of sound. But being able to keep her ears not only warm, but also secure without having to use gauze and bandages for late night walks, Head out the car window fun, etc, has been amazing - her ears are nearly healed.
I've bought a pink tummy warmer/winter jacket set and a purple tummy warmer/raincoat set before from this company for my 5 yr old female Great Dane. Living in a cold winter state, I felt the hoods on the jackets didn't permanently cover her ears enough. Color: Black. Material: Soft fleece well sewn together. The elastic around the face is a good fit. Use: Whether she's running, shaking or trying to paw it off the hood stays in place well. Sometimes it does unroll on the non elastic side. Design solution - install buttons inside your coats and loops on the end of the hood so the hood becomes a more permanent part of your jackets/coats.
My Dane has no problem wearing this. Its very warm. Awesome in cold Alberta winters.
