Excellent coat

I came on this site just to see if this company still existed. We bought a winter coat from them 15 or so years ago for our whippet who passed away around 4 years ago. That coat lasted her entire life and we got a lot of rigorous use in heavy (northeast and Midwest) winters out of it. We now have a new whippet (two years old) and now she is wearing the same coat which is still as sturdy and sharp looking as always. I wouldn’t take the time to write this review if I didn’t truly feel that this is an excellent, high-quality, lifetime coat for a dog from a very good company who (as far as I can tell from my experience) truly cares about the quality and craft of their product.

This is the best winter coat for my silken windhound, we got a burgundy size L based on measurements and it fits her like a glove. She gets compliments on it every time we are out. I love the reflective lining that keeps her safe and the tube neck that covers her ears if she wants and makes her look like a worm. Very easy to put on and take off, but also stays on her if she decides to take a roll on the grass on her back.

Solid winter coat - love them!

I've been using Voyagers K9 Apparel winter coats for my whippets since 2014 and they are brilliant - literally can't fault them. We've had the same jackets for around 4 years and still going strong. They are very well made, warm, waterproof and the dogs have full range of movement whilst zooming around. I'm always recommending them to everyone! Super product, super business.

My whippet is so happy

Chicago winters can be brutal and my whippet is not a fan of the cold. I can barely take him around the block without him trying to turn around and run back home.
I bought this coat in hopes that he could stand the cold weather, and I was not disappointed!! My dog loves this coat and seems to enjoy his walks now! It is made of such nice materials and the reflective edges add a great touch of safety for night time walks. I ordered a custom fit one to ensure it fitting his body size and it is perfect. He doesn’t shiver outside anymore and I am glad he now has a coat he can wear every winter time.

the best coats

We have two voyagers K9 coats, one for our huge greyhound Henri, and one for our little whippet-like rescue, Georgiana. They fit beautifully, wear wonderfully and protect from the cold Northeast winters. The company is wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend their products!

Best Whippet coat on the market!!

After researching numerous website for custom winter coats for my whippet, I went with voyagers k9 apparel 4 years ago and I couldn't be happier. The winter coat is a perfect fit with holes for his collar as well as his harness. It great because of the waterproof layer over the fleece, it really keeps him dry and warm! And the price is pretty reasonable, as compared to other custom whippet coats from different manufacturers. I can't say enough good things about this product. I am not one who writes reviews but I just had to for this coat. Bottom line, if you are looking for a winter coat for your Whippet and don't buy from voyagers be k9 apparel, you are either paying too much or buying an inferior coat.

I love this coat!

I love this coat! It is so warm and my whippet is able to stay outside when it's 20 degrees out. She used to shiver and want to go inside when it was cold out, that has changed ! The coat is also very well made. (And made in America too!) would definitely buy their products again.

Measurements

Very well made winter coat, but it was too small for the whippet I bought it for even after I sent ETSY her measurements. I bought the second coat directly from Terry at Voyagers K9 Apparel and got the right size. Been buying from Voyagers for close to 18 years and will buy from them direct from now on..not from their Etsy branch.

LOVE this coat

I absolutely LOVE this coat. My dog can run as fast as he wants without restriction. Its easy to put on and easy to take off. Its very well made and fits him perfectly! Premade coats from Petco/Petsmart dont even compare.

Fantastic garment

Fantastic garment. Fits my dog perfectly. She can run and do anything she wants in it and accepted it immediately.
