For the best-fitting coat, only send a side profile photo as described here. When taking a side profile photo, it’s important that we get a proper perspective of your dog. Start with a contrasting background. The best side profile photo will show your whole dog — taken directly from the side of your dog and at your dog’s level. Your dog should be standing normally with head level, looking straight ahead.

Measurements

The best fit begins with the tape measure. Provide the following measurements as described.
*All measurements are in inches

Length (L): Measure from the withers - right between the shoulder blades - to the tailset, where the spine ends and the tail begins.

What is your dog’s length from withers to tail set in inches? *

Note: Do not add length to this measurement.

Shoulder Width (S): Measure the straight-line distance across the chest from shoulder to shoulder.

What is your dog’s shoulder width in inches? *

Waist Circumference (W): Measure around the narrowest part of the waist just forward of the hind legs.

What is your dog’s waist circumference in inches? *

Neck Circumference (N): Measure around the neck between the collar and the shoulders.

What is your dog’s widest neck circumference in inches? *

What is your dog’s neck circumference midway between the head and shoulders in inches? *

Chest Circumference (C): Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the armpits.

What is your dog’s widest chest measurement in inches? If your dog wears a harness, take the measurement with the harness on. *

Neck Length: Measure from withers to brow line.

What is your dog’s neck length, in inches? Begin at the withers and go up over the head to just above the eyes. We use this to customize the winter coat and raincoat snood. *

What is your dog’s chest to waist ratio? We use this to determine the side cut of the design. *
