Greyhound Characteristics

Did you know that dogs have the greatest variation in body size of any mammal? From Chihuahua to Great Dane, we take the unique characteristics of each breed and design our coats to fit your pup.

Here are some typical characteristics of the Greyhound:

Neck: long, with a slight arch

Chest: deep

Back Profile: curved

Tail: down

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR GREYHOUND

STEP 1: MEASURE THE NECK

Measure around the base of the neck, where it meets the shoulders. Keep tape snug but not tight.

STEP 2: MEASURE THE CHEST

Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Make sure your dog is standing and the tape is snug but not tight.

STEP THREE: MEASURE THE LENGTH

Measure from the withers (base of the neck, just ahead of the shoulder blades) to where the tail meets the spine. Keep the tape straight along the back.
