Great coat!!

I bought this winter coat and one of the Voyagers K9 Apparel raincoats last fall for my newly adopted Italian Greyhound. It got us through her first New England winter beautifully, and I'm sure it will get us through many more of them. As anyone who has had an Iggy in a cold climate will understand, these two coats were not the only dog clothing purchases I made last year, but they were by far the best! Both coats are beautifully made, go on and off easily, and fit perfectly. I highly recommend them!

The only coat your Iggy will ever need

We had purchased so many coats for our Italian Greyhound, Vinni and they never fit right because of his unique shape. I decided to look online and found this site. We are so thankful and grateful that we did because it was custom made for him. It has kept him warm in the winter months for years. It washes easily and never wears out. Wish we would have found this coat for him sooner, it is well worth the money because it keeps your precious pet very warm and it’s the only coat you’ll need.

Lasted Years

7 years ago I bought my first coat for Dante my Italian Greyhound. It has gone though several rough winters,falls and springs. It is so easy to care for and has lasted longer than my winter work coats! I am buying a new one today for the simple reason that he has now outgrown it. Just go to any store and see the cheaply made coats and you will feel good that you bought this coat for your dog.

Best coat for my IG

This coat is incredible! It's about 30 degrees in outside in the AM and my poor IG hates the cold. I was having trouble getting him to go out in the AM to pee. Because of the cold, he would protest and pee in the house. I bought this jacket and it not only fits perfecty but he now has no problem going out to pee! Thanks for making an amazing jacket! In addition, it fits his rather large chest, oddly long neck and strangely narrow body with perfection and it's the only jacket he doesn't pee on!

EXCELLENT quality

Very nice quality coat!
My 18 pound IG actually likes it and walks towards me to put it on.
The double Velcro across the chest allows for adjustments, especially if they are still growing.
The fleece on the neck is a nice bonus, especially on those windy days!
I just ordered boots for the snow, and I plan to order a raincoat for spring.
Excellent customer service!
Make sure you take measurements, they can assist with sizing.

Nice coat, NOT warm enough for winter walks!

I bought this coat years ago when I first got my girl... Little did I know then how cold an italian greyhound can get. I live in Canada so our winters can dip to my -30C pretty easily. I usually won't walk her at all if it's below -15C but even then, this is not warm enough! She needs an insulated onesie-type of coat to cover her whole body, plus boots, and if it's REALLY cold, I throw this one on top of all that too.

It's good for fall walks and for layering... So I don't know if it's worth the price on here. You can get a water/wind-proof onesie made to fit on Etsy for like $80 that does a much better job. I don't know if it's my dog specifically, but she seems to be cold unless her legs and belly are all covered up.

They need an extra-warm version!

My two IGs live in these coats nearly 24/7 in the winter months. The two-strap system under the belly provides coverage while still allowing them to urinate without getting their coats wet. I only wish they have a version of these with fiberfill for extra warmth; I end up layering coats for chilly fall walks.

Jacket for my 10lb Italian Greyhound

I ordered this jacket for my 10lb Italian Greyhound in the burgundy size small. It fit perfectly and it arrived much sooner than anticipated. I haven't had a chance to test it out in winter conditions yet, but based on the materials and quality I imagine it will do just fine.

I bought two coats for two dogs. They look great. Both dogs seem to like the extra warmth on their neck and ears. They can brave the cold longer than in the past. I have had many compliments about the coats.
